Hello there!

As a first blog post here, I wanted to write about my ideas and goals behind this blog.

For the past year, I have become very interested in personal finance, specifically in investing and the FIRE movement. I decided to track all my finances – all my income, all my expenses, all my investments. I tracked it for months.

During that time, I followed a lot of blogs about personal finance to gain inspiration and learn something new. I came across a lot of bloggers posting updates about their net worth, portfolio value and income/expense reports. And I found myself really enjoying reading about other people’s finances, seeing what they were doing with their hard-earned money and what I can maybe learn from them.

So I decided to do the same – start posting about my finances. There will be monthly updates about my investments, net worth updates, expense reports, as well as advice and reviews about financial services & products.

But, personal finance will not be the only topic of this blog. I really enjoy travelling (so you can expect stories from my travels, advice for travelling etc.) and technology (you can expect some tech reviews, gadget reviews, advice about buying tech etc.).

I hope you will stay tuned to my blog, this is (literally) only the beginning.

Hopefully, this blog will become the go-to place for me to express my thoughts, ideas and goals.
